Need a starting reference?
There is no perfect monthly number.
One official reference is the Australian Government’s current financial-capacity amount for a student visa applicant: $29,710 for 12 months, or about $2,476 per month.
Quick rent calculation
Weekly rent is not four weeks of rent.
Multiply weekly rent by 52 and divide by 12 for a more realistic monthly estimate.
