πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί For students planning to move to Australia, still deciding at home

From "should I even go?" to your first paycheque.

Half of international graduates aren't in full time work six months after finishing their course. None of them saw it coming when their agent suggested it.

πŸ˜₯ The reality

I've spoken with more than 500 students, one on one. The same story keeps repeating: they didn't research properly, and now they're stuck.

Here's what that actually costs

βœ•A course picked off an agent's shortlist, never checked
β‚Ή5 to 10LGone after the first trimester, and it's still not right
$2,500Visa fee, not refunded if it's avoidably refused

You're still deciding. That's exactly where you want to be.

Most of the students above weren't. They let an agent, a brochure, or whoever sounded confident enough make the decision instead.

🧠 What's inside

Eight parts. Everything you need before you decide.

🧭
Three checklists first
Your honest read on the work you actually want, before you pick a course around it.
πŸ“
The decision layer
Course, university, city, chosen on purpose. Why QILT beats QS rankings.
πŸ“„
Getting in, without getting played
Real agent red flags, and an SOP a visa officer won't flag as templated.
✈️
After you apply, and before you fly
The full offer to visa sequence, one continuous flow, nothing missed.
🏠
Somewhere to actually live
Why you never sign a 12 month lease sight unseen, and where to look first.
πŸ“…
Your first weeks, sorted
SIM, bank, TFN, transport, and the superannuation check most students skip.
πŸ’Ό
Part time work that gets read
An Australian style resume, and why walking in beats clicking apply.
πŸ“–
Current Numbers and Master Checklist
Every hard number, sourced, and every step from Part 1 to landed, in one place.
πŸ’Ό Even the ones who do find full time work get paid less for it, $7,000 less a year after a bachelor's, $35,300 less after a master's by coursework. What you decide before you land changes that, not the university's name.

"My agent is pushing a university I've never heard of. What do I do?"
"Say no. If it wasn't on your list, don't get talked into it. Stick to the decision you already made."

Students who got clarity before signing

β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…

"I had paid an agent in Aus before but got more clarity in 30 minutes with Priyanka. Way better to understand from someone who has lived it all rather than paying an agent."

Sahil

"She patiently listened to all my concerns and helped me clear the confusion I had about choosing the right course and university."

Vibhor

"Before our call, I was stuck on which course to choose or which occupation to go for. It helped me get more clarity on what's actually happening in Australian workplaces."

"It also helped me select which university and region will better suit my needs."

πŸ™… Is this for you?

In plain words

THIS IS FOR YOU IF

  • You're still deciding, and want to get it right, not just get it over with
  • You want the honest trade offs, not a brochure
  • You already have an offer and the steps feel like separate mysteries
  • Your family is paying for this, and you want to get it right

THIS IS NOT FOR YOU IF

  • You're happy letting an agent decide your future for you
  • You don't want to spend one evening checking before you commit years and lakhs
  • You'd rather hope it works out than actually know
  • You're not worried about ending up stuck, like the students above
  • You've already landed, settled, and have this handled, save your money

Already landed and think you chose wrong? This workbook is prevention, not a fix. Book a Deep Dive call instead.

Before you ask

Questions people actually send me

A digital download, instantly after checkout. A workbook you fill in, not a guide you skim, print it and write in the margins, or fill it in on your laptop.

Yes, mostly. The checklists, course and university filters, visa sequence, and everything from landing onward are universal. A couple of sections, like the Indian education loan breakdown, are clearly marked so you can skip past what doesn't apply.

Very likely, yes. Parts 4 onward, After You Apply, Before You Fly, Somewhere to Live, Your First Weeks, and Part-Time Work, are exactly the stage most people underprepare for, agent or not.

Email me and we'll sort it out. This exists to actually help you, not to sit unread on your laptop.

I went through this myself, student, then PR, then citizen. Somewhere around month three or four, you'll sit alone in a room that doesn't feel like home yet and wonder what you were thinking. That's not a sign you got it wrong, almost everyone I've talked to has had that exact moment.

You could have stayed. Kept your comfort, built a good life exactly where you are, that's a real option, not a lesser one. But if you're reading this, some part of you has already decided this is worth doing anyway, not because it's easier, but because you're building this for who you'll be in ten years, twenty years. For your kids, if you have them one day.

This book is the version of this move I wish someone had handed me before I got on the plane. If you ever get stuck out here, genuinely stuck, book a call. I'd rather you ask than sit with it alone.

All the best,
Priyanka
